Letting Foyer support open a file
Foyer’s administrator sees none of your clients unless you turn on support access for one file, for a few days.
Nobody at Foyer can look at your clients. The administrator’s console shows your account, your plan and how many clients, team members and megabytes you have, and nothing inside a file. The database refuses the administrator’s session every client row, and the file links refuse it every document.
When you want help with a file
Go to Settings, Access log, choose the client, and under Foyer support access choose 1, 3 or 7 days and press Turn on. Only the account owner can do this; team members see whether it is on.
What happens then
- The administrator can open that file’s documents and application until the time runs out, and nothing else.
- Every open is written to the file’s access log, under the label Foyer platform administrator, where you and your renter both see it. Turning the switch on and off is in the log too.
- It turns itself off at the end of the period. Press Turn off to end it sooner.
The security page says the same in public, and the terms make it a promise.
